MAGDALENA

Hello and Welcome!!

This school year I will begin my 20th year in education. I started teaching at Magdalena Municipal Schools in 2006. Prior to teaching at Magdalena I taught at Deming Public Schools for 4 years and 2 years at Cottonwood Valley Charter School in Socorro. I spent 9 years teaching middle school social studies at Magdalena Middle School. In 2015 I became the Counselor for Magdalena Municipal Schools. As one of counselors at MMS I am here to support all students PreK-12^th grades socially, emotionally, and academically. However, my focus is supporting grades 6^th – 12^th. 

I live in Magdalena with my husband and two sons. I love working with kids. Since I was a young child I always wanted to be become a teacher. I enjoying reading, spending time outdoors, being with my family, gardening, cooking, hunting, and fishing.

Please come by my office  or contact me with questions, concerns, grades, attendance, credits, etc. I look forward to a successful year and working with the students, staff and teachers of Magdalena Schools.
