About Rebecca Ramzel

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and currently live in San Antonio, NM as I have for most of my life.  In 2002 I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico and hold a Dual Licensure in Elementary Education and Special Education.  In 2012 I completed my Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a emphasis in Place Based Education, also through the University of New Mexico.  I have been employed with Magdalena Municipal School District since August of 2002.

Parents and families are always welcome in our classroom.  Please feel free to drop by at any time but remember you must stop by the office to sign in and receive a visitor's pass when you arrive on site.

I try to run my classroom with hope, faith and optimism, so I keep these words by a former San Antonio native, close at hand.

“Optimism is faith that leads to achievement. Pessimism is the lack of hope that leads to nothing. Pessimism causes one to concentrate only on the bad while optimism forces us to see the good, which in turn brings hope, which leads to success and achievement."
